Hi All,

We have a situation where we have to insert a  one pdf ( named as PDF1) present in another server, and the URL link pointing to PDF1 is present as a data in the PDF2. I want to Add the PDF1 as pages to the PDF2 . Please let us know  the way to insert the PDF1 as pages  in to the PDF2 through Adobe Live cycle designer. We are using Adobe live cycle designer 10.2 in our landscape.

Please provide your insights to achieve the functionality through ALD.

Thanks

Hari

Without a very expensive LiveCycle server in the background, you won't be able to merge forms.

Hi,

In our landscape we are using SAP Netweaver Web application server, which act as Adobe Document Service (ADS) and render the form during the runtime and gives the pdf as the output.

We need how to achieve these functonality while designing the form  through the Live cycle designer. Please let us know the steps to achieve the mentioned functionality, such that we will try to replicate it in our scenario

Thanks,

Hari

In Designer you can create so called insertion points. These are placeholders for other XDP forms other than the current, that can be inserted through the Assembler service form the LiveCycle Server. I don't know how this works in SAP, but it should be technically the same.

Adobe LiveCycle ES4 * Creating an insertion point

Adobe LiveCycle ES4 * Assembler Service
