imageField content size

How would I check for an image's size and reject images that are above a certain size, giving the user a pop up message telling them to choose a smaller file if they try to insert one thats too big?

I've been trying the things in this discussion http://forums.adobe.com/thread/421796

but i keep getting a 'validate failed' message.

I have very little javascript experience (meaning pretty much none) so I need more step by step instructions than whats given in that thread and if anyone can help me out, i'd really appreciate it!

Hi,

Can you post the portion of your form with the image field? It would make it easier to see what is going on.
