Hi all,
I want when I click the image field on my form to activate a webcam. Is is possible to do this in LiveCycle Designer?

Hi Ace,
It is not possible in LC Designer ES2 or in forms opened in Acrobat/Reader v9 or below.
However with the recently launched Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform, The new version of Designer will be available as part of the Document Services. You can download a trial here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/enterprise-platform/trial-downloads.html#server.
The new version of ADEP Designer has a new Flash object. This can be used to display any existing Flash/Flex asset:
Not sure what your use case is and you would need to be mindful of the security requirements if you are communicating outside of Acrobat/Reader.
Please note for this example you will need Acrobat/Reader version X (10). And the user will also need a webcam
Hope that helps,
Niall

Niall,
In the documentation of the Flash object written "Flash Variables - A text string or stream that contains formatted name value pairs passed to the Flash player context when activated. Values are string or blank/empty string."
I'm looking at my ADEP Designer and not able to see this option, am I missing something?
Thanks, Yan

Sorry Yan,
I am going to have to look into this. I know you can pass variables when you invoke the Flash object, but I don't think that the Help file is referring to this.
I'll come back when I dig up some more info!
