I'm receiving forms with blank fields and don't know why it is happening?

I have Lifecycle ES 8.2 and have created a form and then used the "Extend Features in Adobe Reader" option in Acrobat Pro to enable people to fill the form in and save the results. The problem is that when some of the people are sending the form back to me, almost all of the fields are blank. When I click in the data fields, their response becomes visible but disappears again once I click out of it. I'm not sure what the problem is and what can be done to correct it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I would bet that the users have completed the form on a Mac OS, using Apple's Preview application. See here: http://assure.ly/hd4jFh.

Have an instruction on the form that the user is to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to complete the form.

Thanks Niall,

Now this may help me make sense of what I see/don't see on my PC. I get forms from people using Macs and they have said that can't see what they entered after saving to form to their computer. Often when I ask them to send the saved form to me I can see the responses in text boxes/fields if I click on the box/field.

Now I've learned about the Apple previewer and I tell Mac users to be sure to use Adobe Reader and get most recent version for their operating system from this web page: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions.

I'm still not sure it works form them all the time. Some go ahead and print the form, fill it it by hand and mail it to me or scan to pdf and attach that to an email to me. .
