How to figure it out the form is Interactive form?

Hello,

Since we are SAP ERP based, in both cases (Interactive or Non-interactive) we have to use the LC designer for to create either Adobe Interactive forms or Non-interactive Adobe forms.

We created few AIFs, and few non-AIFs, well, but as a user pl. let us know how can I figure it out that the form is a AIF or non-AIF?

I tried from FORM -> MENU -> PROPERTIES, also tried MENU -> EDIT but no luck

Thank you

There is a scripting method available for Acrobat's doc-object, to check if the form is dynamic.

event.target.dynamicXFAForm //returns true if XFA form

Thank you.

But, already the forms are in production environment, users are using it hence I don't have a chance to change them by insert any test scripting, pl. let us know any other alternative way, like, from menu or doing a right click on the saved offline form?

Hi,

Not at all sure this will help but Acrobat has a "Browse Internal PDF Structure" option, maybe you can find something in there to help.

Under View … Tools … Print Production  there is a Preflight option (it should come up on the right of the Acrobat window).  Select Preflight and then in the Options drop down (in the top right corner) select “Browse Internal PDF Structure”.

Thank you.

I didn't see your suggestion (Print Production) in my LC form (either interactive form or in non-interactive form), either as online copy or saved local copy!!

Hi,

I've probably misunderstood, I thought you had a PDF and wanted to find out something about it.  I don't know what AIF is but thought you could probably find something, with the "Browse Internal PDF Structure" option.  This is an option in Acrobat.
