how to create selectivity with drop-down menus

I am a newbie to Adobe LiveCycle Designer but computer proficient, although I am not well-versed in Java.  I am creating a form that has two drop-down menus, one is for a day of the week selection (e.g. Saturday, Sunday, holidays) and the other is a time selection menu.  I want to make it so that when a certain day is selected, only specific times will be available for selection.  For example, if the person selects Saturday, the only times that will be available is 4:00pm.  If they select Sunday, only times that will appear are 10:30am and 5:00pm.  I am sure this can be done; I know programming but my background is more in Pascal (from school), some C and I'm currently teaching myself Java.  Any help will be appreciated.
