How to create Dynamic field so it appears the file name

I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a dynamic text field so it automatically appears the file name created of the document.

Hi Jack,

Try putting "event.target.documentFileName; " in the calulate event of the text field.

Thanks for your quick response.I was eager to try it out and see if it works, but I was unable to locate " calculate event " or do I actually have to insert the code in xml source?  i've been looking for it for over 30 min. -_lll I must admit I'm a LiveCycle beginner could you please quickly walk me thru?I'd appreciate it.

Thank alot! It works!! Partially...

I got it to show, but it doesn't show the exisiting file name... let's say for your example, it is suposed to show "untitled 1" since that's the name of your file. How do I get it to appear the name of the file?
