How do you restrict printing if required fields are blank in Adobe 9 Professional

I am really new to form making.   I have set up a form in LiveCycle Designer and have required fields.  I put a print button in but want it to give an error message if not all required fields are filled in.  Any help is appreciated.

Seems like a work in progress, having to edit the XML Source, but I'm not aware of anything having been added to the Designer UI.
