How do you get a text field in a table to break across the page?

I have a question regarding text fields in tables and getting them to break across the page.

Operating System - Windows 7

Livecycle Designer ES2.

Form Target Version is Acrobat or Adobe Reader 9.1 or later

PDF Render Format: Dynamic XML Form

It is saved as an Adobe Dynamix XML Form (*.pdf)

Main Subform is set to Flowed with Allow Page Breaks within Content is checked.

I have a SubformTable within the Main Subform that is set to Flowed with Allow Page Breaks within Content being checked.

Table1 is in SubformTable

Table1 has Allow Page Breaks within Content being checked.

Table1.Row1 contains 6 columns with 6 text fields.

Table1.Row1 has Allow Page Breaks within Content being checked.

The text fields are set Expand to Fit and set to Allow Mulitple Lines.

However the "Allow Page Breaks within Content" for the text fields are greyed out.

When a text field in that row contains more than a page full of text, it just runs into the footer and does not spill over into the next page at all.

What am I missing?

Hi jgratz99,

Is it just me or isn't there any "Allow Page Breaks within content" option in the text field?

Make sure your page is set to flowed and that the Allow Page Breaks is checked in it. That's mostly what i think that could be problematic.

Hey Max, thanks for the reply.

Here is what I listed for the text fields in original post:

"The text fields are set Expand to Fit and set to Allow Mulitple Lines.

However the "Allow Page Breaks within Content" for the text fields are greyed out."

Yes i saw, but what i don't understand is that i don't see "Allow Page Breaks within Content" on my textfields :

Maybe i am using an older version of livecycle.

In an other order of idea, have you checked if the page was set to allow page breaks?

What do you mean by "page"?

Do you mean the "Master Page" or by the main content area?

Here is my text field option for "Allow Page Breaks within Content"

In your hierarchy, you should have a page after the master pages .

In my version of Livecycle my "Page1" they are actually subforms:

But either way, that is set to "Allow Page Breaks within Content".

Yes it is.

Everywhere that there is an "allow Page Break witihin Content" that I know of is checked, that is what I do not get.

I created a table with just one row and one column and put a text field in it and it greys out that option with all the heirarchy before it checked..
