I have a table in my PDF document and a column at the end with action buttons to add and/or remove rows from the table when required. Please see below:
The problem that I am having is removing this column automatically when the document is printed. I want the users to be able to see it while changing the document and for the column to disappear when the document is printed. The buttons successfully disappear, but the outline of the cells that make up the last column remain there when printed.
I have tried to wrap the cells in the column in a subform and changing the cell border to white to see if it disappears. However the outline is always there.
Making the cells in the column Visible (Screen Only) makes the contents visible on-screen, not visible while printed, but does occupy the space in the form layout and prints the outline. I am pretty much looking for the following combination: Visible on-screen, not visible in the printed form, and does not occupy space in the form layout when printed.
Is there a way to make a table column disappear from the PDF format when a document is printed?
