I am making a fillable form (from an InDesign document I designed) in Acrobat for the first time, and the time fields and calculations are really throwing me off. My issue is 2 fold:
- If I designate my fields to be time (HH:MM A), then it seems the user can't denote whether it is AM or PM they are entering - which is very important for a timesheet.
- When I tell the last field to calculate the total time for that day, it comes up very wrong, whether I set the fields to regular or military time. I've been researching on this forum, and am guessing I need a custom script for calculating the total time, but I have no idea how to go about that or where to learn it.
I don't want to fall back on excel, but will have to soon if I can't figure this out - I just don't have much time available to spend on this! Can anyone help me?
