Help with basic Form design livecycle 8.0

I designed a basic form in Livecycle Designer 8.0, (using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0) and some fields mandatory prior to digitally signing. when i convert the form to be used in Adobe reader, the required fields i setup are not required when using adobe reader. any help would be appreciated

What do you mean ...convert the form? Can you post your form so we can see it in action?

sorry i will attach the form. basically the form i created is a stand alone form to be filled out with personnel using adobe reader 9.0. the only requirement is for mandatory fields to be filled prior to digitally signing...another words the request has to be signed but will not accept the signature unless all fields are filled that are required.

Here is a quick sample ......the code is on the presign event of the signature field. Oh and the Reader Extensions were removed when I opened it in my designer.
