Groups

I have just created my first group:

two fields

grouped them

moved the group to another point on the form

Is this all there is to groups?

I could have selected the two field and moved them without creating a group, so what is the added value of groups? Are you using groups for more than relocation?  What?  Thanks.

When you say you created a group, do you mean you wrapped the fields in a subform?

I selected the fields and clicked Layout - Group on the menu to wrap them in a group object.

As far as I can tell from working with it, yes, that's it. The only difference between grouping objects and selecting multiple objects to move them around is that the grouped objects stay together so you don't have to select them again individually.
