Getting the flow right

Good Day All;

I have been asked to design a questionnaire that contains 10 sections with approx. 50 questions that the user will select a radio button for “Yes, No, or N/A”.

I have completed the layout of the form (thanks for the help Srini) and it will span 3 pages. That’s not a problem.

I created 3 separate pages within LiveCycle Designer

Each page is flowed.

There is an expandable “comments section” at the bottom of each question. That may or may not be filled out.

If comments are added, the form expands (of course) and if the section(s) expand enough the will flow to a “second” page and may leave ¾ of a blank page. Could end up with a lot of wasted space. And of course drive the user crazy.

What I wanted to do was have the “whole form” shift so there would be no “blank” areas between pages.

In trying to figure this out I created a test form. I put all the questions (not all 50) on one page and flowed the one page.

Is this the correct way to do this.. It does make it difficult to make any corrections or additions to the form.

Thanks for all your help

Regards

For the row that holds the comments field, you need to check the check box "Allow Page Breaks with in Content" in the Row properties.

That should help.

Thanks Srini;

I checked the boxes as per your instructions but got the same result.

I am thinking I my have the hierarchy all wrong.

I have uploaded the full document to https://acrobat.com/#d=ZSaGyOqSZ7YQABDi6wVCIQ

If you have a minute, could you take a look and let me know if it would be better to start over.

Thanks again Srini
