Getting started with Adobe LiveCycle ES.

Hello everyone,

I'm starting with adobe technology and just wanted to have some heads up over the installation and knowing more about the products.

1. I downloaded Adobe LiveCycle ES from the adobe website. So basically what exactly I downloaded? Is it the server or the IDE?

2. Do I need to download the Designer and workbench seperately?

I'm completely new to this forum and I apologize if I'm putting this question in a wrong forum topic.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, This is the right forum for any discussions and/or queries regarding LiveCycle.

not sure which version of LiveCycle you have downloaded - You can get the trial download of latest release (LiveCycle ES4) from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/downloads.html

LiveCycle Designer & LiveCycle Workbench are two separate installers that you need to download besides LiveCycle server installer.

As you are new to this product you may spend some time reading more about http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle.html , especially getting started section
