Getting an Xstring value and opening the file

Hi all,

My problem is as follows:

I have a Adobe form which has file attachments as a feature. The thing is, I open the PDF via Portal which is developed in WDJ. Upon clicking a number, my application will call an procedure in the R/3 system which in turn will open the Adobe form. The Adobe form will have some attached files which I will be displaying in a table. The send the attached files' as Xstring along with fileId and fileName. How can I open the attached files? How do I process the Xstring to get it opened? I am new to this technology.

Why am I not getting any answers? Is it possible or not or do I need to give more details?
