Ok, I've got a button which I would like to use to grab an particular Excel data sheet which contains name and address information. This sheet is updated periodically and is housed on a network drive. I want users to be able to grab the sheet and get by choosing a the name the want get the address information inserted in the correct fields. These addresses are not the only ones that would/could be used, but are the most frequently used so I want to maintain the ability of the users to type in anything they want, including potentially changing information they just grabbed from the excel sheet, if they are need to add an extra "attention" line per se without it writing back to the Excel file.
Can this be done? I'm using LC 7.x in a citrix environment.
