Generating XSD from XDP?

Avatar

Former Community Member

I tried looking around but I couldn't find a feature that would allow me to generate an XSD out of XDP.

Is it possible to do this using LiveCycle Designer or any other third-party tool?

From XSD, you can generate XML and may be you can use a third party tool to generate XSD out of that XML.

To generate XML goto File -> Form Properties and select Preview tab. And click on the button "Generate Preview Data" and save the file.

Thanks

Have you installed Microsoft Visual Studio?

If so, open the XML and goto XML menu and select Generate Schema. You will get the XSD on hand.

$Nith$,

Do you really need a DISCLAIMER at the bottom of your contributions here?

Dear Iakov Qvaz,

I'm replying to the forums topic through my official email (not from forums page always). The disclaimer info is automatically injected from my email server it seems. Its not my intention.

By the way, the previous reply is sent through the forums page.

Hope you will find the difference between them now!
