I have a form which
has several subforms that can have variable content. The subforms are expanding
nicely to incorporate new conetent even when it is quite long (and often is... )
I am having a problem when the text is so long that the page should overflow onto subsequent - continuation pages.
I can;t seem to get this to work at all .
I have read through some of the earlier posts - even read the 'subforms for dummies post' - that described the basics.
I can't seem to make this work - I have tried entering existing subforms into the overflow leader and overflow trailer options in the pagination tab - but nothing seems to work -
DO i need to create new subforms for this purpose ? or will it work by using an exsiting subform (already created which has page header or page trailer information - ?)

You can use existing subforms that is what you want..OR you can use the regular Header and Footer sections done in Master Pages as well..
May be it will be easier to have a look at the form.. You can send the form to LiveCycle9@gmail.com so I can have a look at it.
Please mention where the problem is..
Thanks

Thanks Srini;
There are three subforms on page3 of my form - that might overflow -
I tried to use the master pages =- but it may be too advanced - for me -
I added several subforms (page3aheader, page3bheader, page3cheader ) and each was going to have a different title - etc - for the different sections that were continuing, etc - this was my original thinking but - I wasn't able to get that to work - either -
so I have decidied to go in a series of baby steps - using what i already have - (existing subfoms) then later if i can get that working -
I will explore further how to use the master pages.
Thanks very much

I wasn't certain if I should use pageAre1 or ContentAreea1 -
I ended up using contentArea1 and that didn;t work -
so i was undecided about which was the best approach -
so then I got on the forum and I am very glad that you are here
