I have created a simple form (with just one text field and process fields) and a workflow (with one User service)..
Added a variable of type xfaform. (Render Service=Default Render Service , Submit Service = Disabled)
Created a Workspace end point.
Form (Process card) available in Workspace.
Now, if i fill the form and click complete button (at bottom right corner), it is being moved to draft folder. I ve tried the same for sample apps (e.g Mortage Loan - Prebuilt) still the form is moved to draft.
Can anyone provide a solution for this?

Did you save your form as an XDP or a PDF.
You can only use the Render Service=Default Render Service with a PDF.

Jasmine,
I am using PDF form.
And, the Render Service/Submit Service is the one which prevents the form being submited to workflow?
One more question related to this topic:
Is there any form variable which take control on initializing workflow (something similar to the init variables in 7.2) ?
In other words, for example if i have two form variable for a process, how do i define a primary variable which should be rendered in workspace..
Thanks,
Nith

It would be the one that's set to be an input variable.
Can you send the app server log.
Also you should try to record that render service and check on which step it fails.

Anyway i'll attach the log file as soon as possible.

I have run into this issue before after attempting to clean out the process history from AdminUI of process instances clogging up my Workspace queue's card view. What I found is that many of the processes I had attempted to terminate were still in a state of "terminating" and, as a result, many new process instances were entering an initial status of "queued" and their respective forms were being saved as drafts as opposed to being properly submitted forward.
Run some searches within AdminUI under Process Management ES and see if you have any process stuck in the "terminating" state. If you do, that may be the culprit. The way I resolved this was to copy the culprit processes in Workbench as new processes with new names and then delete the old ones thus properly removing them from the database. Of course there are implications here should these processes be required for other systems.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I'm really stucked up with initiating processes.
I am not even able to initiate any Sample Processes provided along with the ES package.
What i'm excatly doing is:
Creating a TaskManager endpoint for services (e.g Simple Mortage Loan - FormGuide)
Now i'm able to see the process card in the workspace. Now i'm filling the form and submitting.
This task is moved to the Draft folder under Todo panel. This happens to all the Samples as well as my own processes.
What was my problem in this?
Thanks

There are some weird mechanisms that control whether a form is submitted or goes into draft. I don't quite remember what happens under the covers, but try some of the following:
* Try a different browser
* Make sure that cookies and Javascxript are turned on
* Try from a different machine
Good luck.

Hi All,
So far i have been working with the evaluation version of ES which does not have Adobe ES Update 1.
In the licenced version, the process is initiating successfully.
Many thanks for all your valuable suggestions.
Thanks,
Nith
