Flex Message Examples Do Not Work with Moxie M2 and LCDS

I have an application that is originally developed with Flex
2.X. Recently I upgraded it to Moxie M2 and LCDS. Part of that
application include a Chat (similar to the example in LCDS >>
Samples >> Testdrive >> Example 7). However, after the
upgrade the Consumer component no longer is working correctly.
Using debug mode I can see that the producer is pushing out the
message and the consumer acknowledges receipt of the message. But
the event set to process the message never fires.

There are currently known issues with Flex 3 Beta 1 which we
hope to resolve

in Beta 2. Until then, can you use Flex 2.0.1 Hotfix 2 with
LCDS?

Unfortunately the only reason I upgraded from Flex 2 to flex
3 beta 1 was to get the ability to localize for multiple languages
and dynamically change the locale of the application. So
unfortunately I cannot go back to Flex 2 because currently the
localization is more important than messaging.
