File size calculation with inserted images

I have created a fillable form with fields that will allow pictures to be inserted. Just wondering if anybody knows how the final file size is calculated once the pictures are inserted?

I had someone fill out the form, and the original size is about 2.2 MB. They said they inserted 6 photo's at about 320 KB each and the file blew up to 34MB! Is there a way to avoid this or reduce the file size after? I did try the Reduce File Size... option from the document menu, but it only knocked of about 2-3 MB.

Please help...any answers would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Pictures which inserted to the form, converted to Base64 format. Maybe because of this you form growed up so much.

Thanks for your response, but to be honest, I'm not exactly sure what that means.

In any case, would you happen to know if there is a way to reduce the file size after?
