Failed to begin an advanced process by a strange error message.

Hey,

I'm working on a project where I have to build a simple approval-workflow(advanced process).

I make a try to build an advanced process with a PDF file on my LiveCycle Contentspace ES2 portal site.

If you had the experience about what i say, you may know that it needs three steps to make a process.

1,upload a file you want to make a approval

2,make some introduction about the file

3,begin the workflow

It should be an absolutely easy work I thought. But when I press the last finish button, a error message appears on the screen.:  Exception in Transaction

I don't know what it means. I googled the error, but get no answer matching this problem.

Could anyone give me a hint or some advices about it?

Regards

Tony

You will get this error if there is no "Samples for Content Services" imported in your LC server. For this "Advanced Process" to work, you need to have this sample LCA imported into the LC server.

Download LCA from this location
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/samples/Adobe-Samples-Application-ContentServices-ReviewAn...

Import it to adminui and then try triggering the advanced process.

It should work after importing the sample process.

Thanks for responding, Mr Charbonneau.

Supplement: My LiveCycle ES2 is a trial version.

This is the error that was showing up in the log.
