Expanding textfields that maintain their column position

Hi folks, I have been trying something but cant seem to get it working.  I am basically trying to do what the link below does:

However in this example they are using 3 positioned text boxes. 

What I require is to have 3 subforms (Flowed - Top to Bottom) inside a containing subform (Flowed - Western Text) but it doesnt seem to work - I cant get it to continue onto the next page with out the positioning mess up.  The reason it needs to be held inside a containing subform is because at the top of the form users select from a list of check boxes which columns are to be displayed so the subforms need to be able to slide over etc.

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Maybe a similar way to ask this - is it possible to get content within a subform flowed 'top to bottom' to continue onto a second page when it is nested inside a subform flowed 'Western text'?
