English Dictionary -

My LiveCycle Designer default dictionary is 'Custom Dictionary.'  As a result, there are no words in it, and spell check cites everything as misspelled.

I want to add a dictionary, and I can only add *.clam files, or custom dictionaries.  I found actual dictionary files in the Linguistics folder, but I cannot add them.

Does anyone know what to do?

Hi,

I thought spelling was based on the locale of your form or the form control.  So if you are using a locale that doesn't have a dictionary you wont get any spelling checks made.  If that is the problem then you maybe able to made your locale to one with a dictionary, for example Australian to Canadian, there's instructions here Spell Check Locale Mapping
