Embed external PDF in Adobe Forms

Hello,

I have a requirement to create a form as a list of articles with its corresponding "images". These images are stored as pdf files.

Do you know if it is posible to embed pdf files inside an Adobe Form? Which pallete object I should use?

It should be dinamic, I mean the pdf I should display depends on the data...

Thanks in advance,

You can add the extra PDFs as attachments to the form. Do a search in this forum on attachments and you will find a sample that shows how to handle and manage those attachments from inside the form.

Hope that helps

Sorry, I have been looking for attachments and I don't figure out what it is or how it works...

Can you provide me with some link?

I don't have a current adobe livecycle configured to play with it yet. I am still investigating if it could be done and how to do it before going into that way.

What I want to show is a list with a descrition and an image

ProductA ImageA

ProductB ImageB

ProductC ImageC

where imageA, ImageB and ImageC are pdf files.

Is there a special object in the pallete to show attachments?

Can we attach jpg files too? Is it possible to use the same palette object to render the jpg files and the pdf files?

Thanks!

here is the sample file I was referring to.

You can put almost any file you want as an attachment. You wil not be able to display it in the PDF but you can launch it and it will open in it snative application.
