Dynamic dropdown box problems

Hello

I have a requirement for a dynamic downdown list.

I am using javascript to self populate 2 text fields from the dropdown list.  I require the dropdown list/box to be able to have user input options as well as the dropdown list. I have selected the "User entered - Optional" from the setting but doesn't seem to work.

The dropdown list has employee names and if a new employee joins that company and I am not aware the end user can input the employee's name into the field.

I have attached a version on the pdf.

Any ideas or help would be awesome.

Hi there. All you have to do is check the box 'Allow Custom Text Entry'. You can find the box in Object > Cell

Awesome, works like a dream.  Here I was thinking it was a javascript problem.  Wow, so simple.
