Drop down box not defaulting to <none> in preview mode

Hi there,

I am hoping someone can help me. I've created a drop down list that has 17 items in it and the default value is set to <none> so it should appear blank. In design view it is blank but when you click on preview mode it shows the first entry. Obviously I need it to remain blank in the preview mode.

Can anyone shed any light?

Hello again,

I've answered my own question - change the default binding value to 'none' rather than 'normal' on the drop down list and when you view preview mode the drop down box jsa defaulted to blank.
