Does anyone know how to get LC ES to pass language property to PDF form?

Even though English is selected in LC ES, it will not pass it to the form when I save it as a PDF. To pass 508 it must specify the language for the screen reader and it cannot be changed in the PDF after is saved.

Did you set the locale in the File > Form Properties > Defaults tab?

Hi Niall, I did set it to English (US), but it doesn't pass to the PDF. The form has to work with Acrobat 7 and maybe that has something to do with it.

Hi Maggie,

508 is not my area, so I can't be sure what it going on.

You should check the Save Options in the File > Form Properties dialog. Is the generate tags ticked:

Yes, those are the ones checked.  The form is accessible and 508 compliant except for the language property.
