Document page numbering control

Hi there,

is it possible to control  the start of the document page numbering? Because in my process I have to merge two documents and for consistency I would like to control the numbering of the 2nd document in accordance with the 1st document.

Thank for your help.

How do you merge the documents? Are these XFA/XDP PDF or normal PDF?

Hi Kosta, documents are merged in SAP, i can access to PDF and XFA data.

Hi,

I am not sure how SAP merges documents under the hood. If you have access to the Design of these PDFs you could possibly reset the numbering in the Master Page like this

See if that helps you.

The problem is that the number of pages in the document is variable. For example if document 1 has only one page then document 2 will start on page 2; if the document has 26 pages then document 2 will start on page 27.

Yes, but the idea here is that if you own the design you could make the individual documents to always start at 1. Meaning doc1 starts with 1, doc2 starts also with page 1
