Hi,

Is it possible to make the button which opens calendar from Date Control visible all the time. Right now its only available if Date field gets focus. Or open calendar on another button click. Is there any third party calendar controls available with this functionality if it can't be achieved with available controls

No it is only available when the field gets focus.
