Hi there
I have placed in my form two date fields, one that displays the current date and one with a date that i have set as default. What I want the form to do is check if the current date is greater than the default date I input.
Could anyone help. Also for my knowledge how do I reference the current date as a Date2Num in another field.
Many thanks for any help.
Darren

Comparing Dates is always a tricky affair. You have to get the dates into a common arithmetic format (usually the date is converted into a number of milliseconds that have elapsed since a point in time - called an epoc) . FormCalc has some nice functions to help you with this (it can be done with Javascript but it is more tedious). I have included a couple of date arithemtic samples that I had kicking around.
