Glad you're enjoying it so far - as for DB creation, the
future is wide open, but we really think our main focus for the
medium term is enabling real-time social/collaboration. There's
still a lot left to do there, so I don't think you'll be seeing
anything around this any time soon. That said, Cocomo does support
persistence of messageItems (up to 10MB), and can be used as a
poor-man's database where appropriate (see the Yahoo Maps example
for using a node to store every address entered on the map).
