Creating Hyper-Links in LiveCycle Designer

Good Day;

I am not sure if I am in the right forum, but here goes.

I am using LiveCycle Designer that is part of Acrobat professional 8. I am trying to change a work into a hyper-link. I do not see in any of the dropdowns a way this can be done.

Is there a way to change a word into a hyper-link?

Hi,

You can insert hyperlinks from the Insert menu. This will do external files and websites.

If you want to hyperlink to a different location on the same form, then you could use the setFocus command (see help). One option is to change the font of the word to blue and underlined. Then place a button over it with no border, caption or fill. The click event of the button can then deal with the hyperlink using setFocus.
