Clarification on roomstate Ended

Avatar

http://livedocs.adobe.com/labs/acrobatcom/com/adobe/rtc/session/RoomSettings.html#roomState

"RoomManager state constant for a room which has been closed."

If host set the roomstate to End then will it end all the audio, video, screen share streams? even if the private streaming is allowed?

I want to stop all the activites in the room as a host when I sign off, so I am wondering if I just set the roomstate to END then is that enough for the communciation part. Will it also clear the text chat , notes etc. Is there a call to clear all the data from all the components?

Yup, setting the state to ended should kick everyone out of the room.

If you want all messages in chat and notes to disappear after the session

ends, look into sessionDependentItems in the nodeConfiguration for their

nodes. SimpleChat actually exposes a sessionDependent boolean to use as

well.
