Change database password

I have installed LC ES2.5 on weblogic 11g and use sql server 2008 as the database. It works fine but I wonder how can I change the database password?

Do I need to rerun the configuration manager to encrypt the password? will it delete all my previous data/settings if I run the configuration manager again?
