Cell with default text in box

Is there a way to enter a text box where there is text or data in the box, but no text title , so you can either change the text or leave the default text.  I do not want the text part of a text column.

I assume that you are refering to the caption. You can turn the caption off on the Layout tab under the Caption portion you can choose None.
