Does ES 2 support a hierarchy for categories? Or it is still just Category -> Service.

No. In fact the concept of "category" really only applies to organization of processes visible in Workspace so that they can be grouped under a common theme in the UI. As for Workbench, we have a flat list of Applications and inside each Application you can manage multiple Application Versions. What is is it that you would like to do with Categories or Hierarchies or services?

It was possible to create Sub-Categories in 7.2 version of LiveCycle form manager.

That was quite helpful to organize our forms and for the users to locate the relevent form easily.

Now, in ES or later version, this feature is not available.

Sub-Categories is what I was looking for. It was more to help organize the process services that are being built.

I'm not formiliar with the Applicaiton List. Where would I find the documentation on this?

That feature would have been nice to have kept in, from a developers view.

Here's a direct link to the application model in LiveCycle ES2: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/workbenchHelp/help.htm?content=000995.html. There are a number of links from that page that describe the application model in detail.

Hope that helps!
