I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 on Windows 7. When I had Windows XP, I was able to use the Preview PDF tab. Ever since I received my new computer with the Windows 7 OS, I cannot use this feature.
My first problem was with PDF files not opening without the following error message: Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDF in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again.
I was able to fix this by unchecking the 'Display PDF in Browser' box in Adobe Professional (Edit/Preference/Internet). However, now I cannot use the Preview tab in LiveCycle without having Aobde open first. It also opens in Adobe instead of the Preview tab (which shows an error message).
Is there a way to fix this so that I do not get the error messages and still be able to use the Preview tab in LiveCycle?
