Can't enter data into fields

Avatar

I have a simple form with a few basic calucations.  The formulas are working correctly as they are generating zeros.  However, when I open it as a PDF I can not enter information into the fields which drive the formula (i.e. the cost calucation fields).  I do not get an error message just a error sound.  Like the fields are rescrited.

I added a simple text field that is not related to the formulas and I still can not enter information.

I have narrowed it down to form setting or a form issue, but I can't seem to figure out what it is causing it.

Please Help.

Are you opening In Acrobat or Reader? If Reader, is the form Reader Extended?

I am opening it in Acrobat 9.  Saving as an Adobe Dynamic XML form.  Using LiveCycle Designer ES Version 8.

The calculations work in the preview tab? How is your file going from Adobe Dynamic XML form to PDF? Are you saving it that way or using Form Server?
