Can AFSC chat pod be connected to Jabber?

Hello,

In my multi-purpose AIR app, I have an AFCS chat component. Some users would rather monitor the chat in their Jabber client as opposed to having my AIR app open. Is this possible? FYI, the AFCS chat room is already connected to LDAP and so is Jabber.

Hi Marc,

At this point, no - eventually we're aiming to provide HTTP APIs that would let you bridge the 2 services (we're going to provide a spec for this in the next few weeks), but it wouldn't be a "turnkey" solution. We've seen some requests to be able to use Jabber's presence network, but not as much for interoperability within the chat. Definitely something we've thought about though.
