Calculate value based on drop-down list

I have a table in a subform that has drop-down list that includes the days of the weeks as well as a numeric field to enter in hours. Users can add in another row by clicking an Add button. I would like to create several calculated fields, one for each day of the week that will act as a grand total for each day. Can anyone help me? I have not been able to find an example of this anywhere.

Can you post your form so we can see what it is you are trying to do?

I was able to calculate the hours based on day but I had to create invisible fields that are holding the value for each item. I would like to be able to code it in to eliminate the hidden fields.
