I have an xdp and created a data connection to a web service. I have one input parameter and 4 output. I have done the bindings for the input and output. I put a default value in the input field and then invoked the web service in javascript from the initialize event of an unrelated field. I would like to invoke from the input field anytime the user mouses out or changes the value, but cannot get any of those events to work. I also added the "invoke" button to the form but that will not function at all. The web service is never invoked. I even saved the XDP as an xml based pdf and that won't work. Any ideas why the web service can ONLY be invoked by the initialize event of an unrelated field?
