friends, i am very new to afcs. i want to built a chatting program using afcs and flex3. please help me. please give me a step by step guide.

Just download the SDK -- it contains lots of examples and a developer guide which should get you going fairly quickly.

I'd suggest getting familiar with Flex 3 first before jumping into AFCS.  Below are a few resources to get you going...
