Binding Text Fields

Hi everyone,

I'm new but learning quickly on Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0. I know how to bind text fields globally within a document. And I know how to combine PDF files to make a PDF Package with multiple forms. What I can't seem to make work is having those text fields auto-populate using binding throughout several different documents, though packaged as one PDF. Does that make sense? And is that possible?

You need to create a data connection either with an XML file/ Schema. Then bind all the fields in the PDF to this XML/ Schema tags.

When you pass the data XML at runtime while rendering the PDF, the values will be displayed in respective fields in the PDF..

Hope this gives an idea.. If not please explain your requirement..
