Barcode 128C & control sequence

Hi there,

we have since today a problem with our barcode-forms.

We use barcode 128C as default and give it a combined string:

1234[CB]letters  12[CC]8974

Til yesterday all worked fine, since today, the barcode shows, if any, the first letter of the text. the rest is gone...

We need urgent help!

Sven, are you talking about the label of the barcode or the actual values that your decoder reads once the barcode is scanned?  If it's a value problem then the data may be too large for the size of the barcode.

Hi @all,

the solution is, that there is a BUG in ADS SP 8.01.

We opened a OSS-message and SAP solved the problem for us (the problem is known):

• reset patch 8.01 to 8.0
  
• there is a fix for the patch 8.0 which solves the problem with barcode 128C
• a fix for patch 8.01 is currently develope
