This has been driving me nuts....
I'm using an application that can dynamically build a templated PDF form. I've created one in DesignerES. I am populating a field in Arabic on the form. I have no trouble with the english language fields.
When I preview the form in reader or acrobat pro, the Arabic text shows up as squares. If you click on the text, you will see it in Arabic until you mouse away from the field. If you print the form, the Arabic text in all fields prints correctly, but displays the "text overflow" box. If I turn off the option to display the text overflow box, the Arabic text shows up as boxes on both the form and the print version.

I cannot even build a form from scratch in designer that will solve the problem. the only form I've gotten to work properly is something I downloaded from a tool called Scribus...
