Can some one confirm that this is bug in LCES2 SP1 server ( Designer ES2 SP1)?
Here is sample data file mydataFile.xml

<!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN" "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
<my_notes>

<data2>this is line one
this is line two
this is line three
this is line four

Here is sample code to read data file

FileChannel fc = fis.getChannel();
MappedByteBuffer bb = fc.map( FileChannel.MapMode.
READ_ONLY, 0, fc.size());
String myXMLData = Charset.defaultCharset().decode(bb).toString();
myXMLData = MyStringUtility.replaceString(myXMLData ,
"\n" , "\n ") ; // note if this line is commentd FormServer throw exception note space at the end
Now pass this sample data to xdp with FormES2 it will throw error if above line is commented.
