1/1/17 date reverting to 1/1/16?

My company has a fillable form which has been in use for a couple of years now.  It has a table which allows people to enter a series of date ranges - from x to x - etc.  We've just noticed that 1/1/17 doesn't work - it reverts back to 1/1/16, whether it's entered manually or via the drop down calendar.

Any ideas?

It's a bug in the current version of Acrobat/Reader. I hope this will be fixed asap.
