XML to PDF --> How to?

Hi All,

I have a simple question, but I spent a week trying to find an answer and technology to help with my task;

We designed fillable form in Acrobat LiveCycle ... for a sake of testing, there is only 3 feilds:
- FirstName
- LastName
- Address

At the same time, I have an XML file, stored in a fixed locaton in file system with 3 tags:
Toar
Imanuel
1234 West Georgia

Now, I want to map those XML tags to PDF form;

After mapping, end-user would simply PRINT the form and close it; NO NEED the save the data; The only purpose is populating the form and printing it;

Any help is WELCOME;

End users are small-businesses (really small) and big spending is out of question;

Thanks,
Toar

Toar,
There are actually two separate issues here. One is the mapping of
the form to the XML tags. This is called "data binding" and can be done
by creating a data connection within designer. This doesn't actually
pull any data into the form...it just tells the form which XML nodes it
needs to pull data from. To get the XML data into the form, you need to
import the data. There are only two ways in which you can do this. The
first way is with the Adobe LiveCycle Forms application, which is an
enterprise software application and is priced accordingly. The other
way is to manually import the data using Adobe Acrobat. The menu option
is 'File-->Form Data-->Import Data to Form...' This cannot be done with
Adobe Reader, unless you have purchased another server product called
Reader Extensions Server.

Actually, there is one other way. You can import data into the form
using a web service call from your form. However, web service
connectivity is only available with Adobe Acrobat and NOT Adobe Reader
(unless again you have purchased Reader Extensions Server).

For smaller companies that can't afford Reader Extensions Server,
FormRouter has a hosted offering of the product where you can pay on a
per-form basis at a reasonable price.
